now an easy, relaxed flow runs through this renovated multi-level home. this original brick- and -tile dwelling had disconnected interior spaces and no connection to the garden. whilst maintaining the current arrangement of spaces the solution was to remove key walls and install stacking doors. opening up the interiors defined new connections between the living areas and the landscaped surroundings. from street to the front door a run way entry deck was introduced and four new decks were built acting as recreational islands. planting created soft divisions between the decks bringing a new balance to the home.
